Lane Hornfeck, Chief Compliance Officer & Deputy General Counsel
Lane joined the Omega family in 2023 as Chief Compliance Officer & Deputy General Counsel, overseeing Omega’s global compliance and risk management program as well as general legal affairs. Bringing over 25 years of commercial and information technology litigation and C-Suite level advisor experience, Lane served as General Counsel for a national mechanical services company and as a litigation partner in law firms in Hawaii and Maryland, both garnering Best Lawyers Best Law Firms distinctions.
Lane graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Pittsburgh and cum laude from the University of Hawaii William S. Richardson School of Law, where she was an editor on the Law Review, a best oralist and national best brief award winner on the Jessup International Moot Court Team, a research assistant in Real Property, and teaching assistant in Legal Methods and Appellate Advocacy Seminars. Following law school, Lane clerked at the Hawaii Supreme Court for Associate Justice Mario R. Ramil, served as an Adjunct Professor, Maryland Bar Foundation Fellow, Leadership Montgomery Core Class Member, Pacific Century Fellow and Board Member of the National Association of Business Owners and Entrepreneurs, has been recognized by Best Lawyers and Super Lawyers, and is AV Preeminent rated with Martindale-Hubbell.
