Throughout my career at Omega, I’ve swiftly risen from an IT Contractor to a full-time IT Engineer within just a month, orchestrating the setup of 100 computer sets and ascending to the role of IT Infrastructure Manager overseeing both Manila and Cebu’s technological landscapes. Along this journey, I’ve encountered numerous challenges, from navigating technical complexities as the sole custodian of the digital realm to enduring sleepless nights ensuring seamless operations while balancing leadership responsibilities. Yet, these experiences have taught me the importance of precision, dedication, and embracing the duality of leadership and vigilance. Each milestone and challenge has catalyzed my personal and professional growth, honing my skills in leadership, technical expertise, and adaptability. My advice to others is to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth, cultivate resilience and precision, foster mentorship and collaboration, and continuously strive for excellence and innovation for both organizational success and personal fulfillment.

In reflecting on my journey, I see the seeds of leadership sown in the fertile soil of my childhood, where every challenge was an opportunity to excel. From those early days to my first steps into the professional world, I carried a relentless drive to lead. Despite initial setbacks, I persevered, driven by a deep-rooted determination to improve myself. Joining Omega marked the beginning of an extraordinary chapter. Starting as an agent, I aimed higher, never losing sight of my ambitions. When the chance to lead emerged, I seized it without hesitation, propelling myself forward. Embracing roles that stretched my abilities, I blossomed into TM Juju, the Training Manager known for her dedication and excellence. Omega became my nurturing ground, fostering my growth with each passing opportunity. Three promotions in five years stand as testament to the unwavering support of mentors and leaders who believed in me. My journey, filled with both triumphs and tribulations, fuels my anticipation for what lies ahead. I stand as a testament to the power of perseverance and the transformative potential within each of us. In every setback, in every success, I find inspiration to keep reaching, keep growing. And I urge others to do the same, for within every challenge lies the seed of greatness, waiting to bloom.

When I started my journey at Omega Healthcare, I never imagined how much I would grow, not only in my career, but also in the way I handle challenges, take responsibility, and lead others. What began as an opportunity to learn and build my experience became a journey of growth, perseverance, and discovering my potential.

Starting as an agent taught me the value of hard work, accountability, and delivering quality service. As I gained experience, I learned to look beyond my individual responsibilities and recognize the importance of teamwork and supporting others.

Becoming a Team Lead was a significant milestone that challenged me to see success differently. Today, it is no longer just about achieving targets; it is about developing people, solving problems, and helping the team succeed together.

I am grateful for the opportunities Omega Healthcare has given me to grow and take on new responsibilities. My journey continues, and I remain committed to learning, leading by example, and creating opportunities for others to grow.

From focusing on my own success to helping others achieve theirs, my journey at Omega Healthcare has shown me that growth begins when we are willing to step beyond what we already know and embrace what we can become.

I have been with Omega since 2014 as Team Lead. Over the years, I have been fortunate to grow through multiple leadership roles, progressing from Team Lead to Senior Team Lead, Assistant Manager, Operations Manager, Senior Operations Manager, and now Deputy General Manager. Each promotion came with new challenges, broader responsibilities, and valuable learning experiences that helped shape my leadership journey.

What I appreciate most about working with Omega is the continuous opportunity to learn, grow, and make an impact. Every challenge has contributed to my professional development, strengthening my operational expertise, leadership capabilities, and ability to drive results. The organization has consistently fostered an environment where employees are encouraged to stretch their capabilities, embrace new opportunities, and build meaningful careers.

My journey reflects Omega’s strong commitment to career growth and leadership development. Through mentorship, exposure to diverse business challenges, and opportunities to lead high-performing teams, I have been able to continuously evolve both personally and professionally.

After more than a decade with Omega, I remain grateful for the opportunities entrusted to me and excited about what lies ahead. My story is proof that with dedication, perseverance, and the right support system, continuous growth and career advancement are possible.

My journey with Omega Healthcare began in February 2024, when I joined the organization as an External Team Leader. At the time, I started with a small but determined team of just 11 agents. I was new to the company and still developing my knowledge of the program, but I came in with one clear goal: to learn, lead, and make a positive impact.

Just a few months later, in May 2024, an exciting opportunity and an even greater challenge came our way. The project underwent a major expansion, adding approximately 50 headcount across the Manila and Cebu sites.

At that time, I was working alongside my co-Team Leader. She managed the team in Cebu while I handled the agents in Manila, with our manager supporting us from Manila.

This became one of the most challenging stages of my career.

My tenure with Omega was still relatively short, and my experience within the program was still growing. Yet suddenly, I found myself helping manage a rapidly expanding operation across two locations. I had to learn quickly, adapt constantly, and help ensure that our growing team received the guidance and support they needed.

By June 2024, our expansion agents officially went live.

That period was truly a roller coaster of emotions and experiences. There was excitement because the program was growing, but there was also pressure and uncertainty. We had to make sure that our agents were able to apply everything they had learned during training while consistently meeting both management and client expectations.

It was far from an easy journey.

There were challenges, adjustments, lessons, and moments when we had to push ourselves beyond what we thought we could do. But instead of allowing those challenges to stop us, we used them as opportunities to improve.

Through teamwork, commitment, resilience, and continuous coaching, we made it through.

And eventually, all of that hard work paid off.

The project not only succeeded but exceeded client expectations. The program continued to grow and remains operational today, receiving multiple commendations from our clients and becoming a testament to what a committed team can accomplish together.

A Milestone I Will Always Be Proud Of

One of the proudest and most memorable moments of my journey came when our project was recognized as an Annual Star Program for 2025 during the Annual Omega Global Awards, held at Marco Polo. Being surrounded by leaders from across the organization, fellow awardees, and even the CEO of Omega Healthcare – Mr. Anurag S. Mehta made the occasion truly special.

Making this achievement even more meaningful, I was also recognized as an Annual Star Team Leader for 2025 on the same event.
For me, these recognitions represented more than awards.

They represented every challenge we overcome, every lesson we learned, every agent we coached, every difficult day we pushed through, and every success we celebrated as one team. It was an incredible experience to celebrate not only our individual accomplishments but also the collective success of the program and everyone who contributed to making it possible. Seeing our team’s hard work, perseverance, and dedication recognized on such a significant stage made every challenge we had overcome even more worthwhile.

But perhaps one of my greatest accomplishments cannot be measured by an award.

As the program continued to expand, we needed to develop additional support within Quality, Training, and Operations Leadership. This created opportunities for our agents to step up and pursue bigger responsibilities.

I am incredibly proud to say that I became part of the development journey of several of my former agents who eventually became successful Quality Analysts, Trainers, and Team Leaders.

Watching people whom I once coached and supported become leaders and subject-matter experts themselves gave me an entirely different sense of fulfillment.

It made me realize that leadership is not simply about being successful yourself. It is about creating opportunities for others to become successful too.

Continuing to Grow

While developing my team, I also made sure that I continued developing myself.

I pursued and successfully completed the Six Sigma Yellow Belt Training Program, earning my certification and strengthening my knowledge of process improvement and operational excellence.

Then, after approximately one year and five months, another door opened for me.

An opportunity became available to step up to the position of Senior Team Leader.

Five candidates applied for the role, and I was blessed to become one of the two successful applicants selected for the position.
It was another major milestone in my career.

From starting with 11 agents, helping support a major expansion across Manila and Cebu, developing future QAs, Trainers, and Team Leaders, and overcoming the challenges of a growing program, I was now being given the opportunity to take my leadership journey to the next level.

Today, I proudly serve as a Senior Team Leader.

My responsibility is no longer limited to developing agents who aspire to become future leaders. My role has evolved into developing current Team Leaders and helping them prepare for the next stage of their own leadership journey.

And that has given me an even greater purpose.

I want to help create leaders who will eventually create more leaders.

I want to share the experiences, lessons, challenges, and knowledge that helped shape me so that the next generation of leaders can become even better.

Because for me, the true measure of leadership is not how many people follow you, but how many people you inspire and develop to become leaders themselves.

Grateful for the Journey

When I look back at where I started in February 2024, I realize how much has changed.

I started as a new Team Leader with 11 agents, learning the organization and the program while trying to find my own leadership style.
Today, I am a Senior Team Leader, an Annual Star awardee, a Six Sigma Yellow Belt certified professional, and, most importantly, a mentor to both aspiring and current leaders.

None of these accomplishments would have been possible without the people who believed in me.

I am sincerely grateful to Omega Healthcare, my managers, my colleagues, my team, and everyone who has been part of this journey. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to explore my potential, develop my skills, share my knowledge, overcome challenges, and grow into the leader I am today.
I am incredibly blessed and proud to be part of the Omega Healthcare family.

What makes the journey even more special is the culture. It is a workplace where challenges become opportunities, colleagues become family, and working can truly feel like home.

My journey is far from over.

There are still more lessons to learn, more people to develop, more challenges to overcome, and more milestones to achieve.
I am excited for what the coming years will bring and for the opportunity to continue growing alongside the organization that gave me the chance to become the leader I am today.
