Gopi NatarajanCo-Founder, and CEO
Gopi Natarajan is the Chief Executive Officer at Omega and has more than 25 years of experience in the US Healthcare Industry (payers, providers, and vendors). Prior to Omega, he was heading a $40M medical billing company in the US with 1,000 employees (250 of whom were in India). He also has relevant experience in IT and BPO/KPO outsourcing during his senior management stints with Aetna, EDS, and Healtheon/WebMD.

Gopi has a brilliant track record in leadership, management, and operational experience, having been instrumental in leading small-sized companies to grow into medium / large-sized companies. Gopi now spends a significant amount of time in India, overseeing the operations and growth of Omega. As a co-founder of Omega, Gopi brings an incredible amount of industry knowledge and relationships that he has built through the years while working in senior management positions in US-based healthcare services companies.

Anurag MehtaCo-Founder, and President
With 24 years of US corporate experience, 14 of which have been with US-based healthcare and India-based BPO/KPO companies, Anurag is backed by strong leadership and management experience in start-ups and M&A. The first 11 years of his career were spent at Bayer Corporation, and then Anurag followed his entrepreneurial spirit in 2000 when he became Founder/CEO of a large US medical billing company which grew to nearly 1,000 employees. In 2003, Anurag decided that building successful BPO/KPO offshore operations to bring about cost reduction and improved turnaround times for US clients was the better approach, and together with Gopi Natarajan, they started Omega Healthcare.

Also, by having previously run large scale medical billing operations in the US, Anurag clearly understands the needs of today’s US healthcare and revenue cycle management companies and the forces affecting their businesses.

S.V. 'Krish' KrishnanChief Operating Officer
S.V. Krishnan is a distinguished global executive with an MBA from the University of Delhi and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal. His three decade career spans building and managing multimillion-dollar service delivery (onshore/offshore) organizations, including consulting with Fortune 500 clients. Krishnan’s background includes working with global IT service organizations such as TCS, Satyam Tech Mahindra, NTT Data and Covansys/CSC, in the United States, England, Scotland, Malaysia, Singapore and India, primarily in the Banking, Insurance, Healthcare and Retail sectors. He brings with him deep experience in global service delivery, human capital management, quality processes and metrics-based management.

Baskaran GopalanVice-President, Strategic Management
Baskaran Gopalan has over seventeen years of experience in the healthcare billing industry and has managed operations for hospitals and large physician groups. He has comprehensive domain knowledge of and expertise in the US healthcare industry, with a special focus on Receivables Management.

His expertise also extends to Quality Assurance processes and client management with his 8+ years of experience at other India-based Healthcare BPO/KPO organizations. Baskaran joined Omega in its early months and has emerged as a cornerstone of our India operations, bringing industry best practices and fostering immense team loyalty (of the first 16 managers hired into Omega in 2003, 15 are still with Omega).


 

Daph

Daphne TombrellaVice-President, Client Services
Daphne brings to Omega Healthcare over 20 years in healthcare expertise, specifically in Revenue Cycle Management outsourcing. Daphne began her career at Electronic Data Systems (EDS) where she spent over 15 years in strategic business units focusing on business process management and outsourcing. After leaving EDS, Daphne was part of a startup company that focused on the payer market space. Daphne was instrumental in developing solutions for large commercial and managed care payers that allowed them to improve the efficiency of claim adjudication.

After this venture was sold, Daphne then joined Ajuba, another startup company where she spent 9 years building the operation from the ground up. Daphne’s expertise in both domestic and offshore outsourcing has helped clients recognize savings of 40% and greater within their organizations. Daphne has led project transitions in all areas of billing and revenue cycle management and managed manpower transitions in excess of 200 employees. Daphne’s combined expertise in both operations and client management allows her to provide exceptional support to clients as well as fully understand the needs and challenges of their environment.

Guruvayurappan PV (Guru)Vice President & Head - Human Resources

Guru specializes in Organizational Development and Organizational Behavior and has launched key change management initiatives in his various roles. He has spent over 25 years in the field.

Guru holds a post graduate degree in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management and a diploma in Training & Development from ISTD. He started his career with the BPL Group where he directed people strategies across their various manufacturing plants and also BPL’s corporate office at Bangalore. In his decade-long stint in the BPO/KPO industry, Guru was instrumental in winning prestigious awards for Allsec Technologies Ltd, and for setting up benchmark HR processes for Paramount Airways.

Guru is a life member of Bangalore Management Association (BMA), National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM), Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD), and the National HRD Network (NHRD).


 

Reddy

 

Purushothama Reddy A (PR)Vice President – Finance & Legal

Purushothama Reddy has over 20 years of corporate experience in both domestic and overseas assignments. At Omega he has headed the Finance department since 2005 and seen the company cross many milestones. As a key member of the Executive Management Team, he reports to the CEO and assumes a strategic role in the overall stewardship of the company.

As Finance head of the Indian and Philippines operations, his  primary responsibilities include planning, managing and controlling all finance-related activities of the company. Over and above this, he assumes direct responsibility for investor relations and partner compliance.

PR –as he is known internally – also heads the procurement department and has driven deal analysis and negotiations at a macro level. As part of his role, he also oversees the functioning of the legal department, and advises management on legal matters and policy-making. Purushothama has a Master’s in Business Administration- Finance, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law, and won the National Award for Excellence in Cost Management from the ICAI.

Julius Raj StephenJoint Head of Operations

Julius is one of the founding members of Omega and has played a crucial role in Omega’s growth – right from its early days as a start-up to its current position of dominance. He presently leads the operations team spread across multiple geographies. Julius bring a customer-centric approach and a track record of increasing revenues and reducing cycle time, to the table. He leverages vast process knowledge in revenue cycle management to enhance efficiencies, improve quality and boost productivity for clients.

In over 18 years spent in the healthcare outsourcing industry, Julius has held many leadership positions at companies serving large physician and hospital groups. Today, he focuses on grooming the next generation of leaders for the company, while using his experience in the domain to propel people and the business forward.

Julius is a commerce graduate and has an MBA in Customer Relationship Management.

Narayanan VJoint Head of Operations

Narayanan brings over 23 years of rich operations experience to Omega, where he has been instrumental in setting up of the Trichy delivery centres almost from scratch. He presently leads the operations of this rapidly-growing region, driving all strategic functions. In addition, Narayanan manages the Philippines centre, was one of the progenitors of the  Work Force Management team, and steers Service Quality and Operational Excellence.

Prior to joining Omega, Narayanan has held leadership positions in business operations at First Source, Genysis, Airtel, Aircel, and other companies where he was responsible for end-to-end delivery. His versatility in leading voice, non-voice and back-office operations has won him many accolades.

Narayanan is a commerce graduate and has an MBA in Finance from Alagappa University. He has also completed Intermediate ICWA (Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India), and is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt professional.
